Director, Production Animal Veterinarian

I graduated from Cambridge University in 1997. Following three years in mixed practice in the UK, I decided to head over to NZ for a working OE. I never quite made it back home and have been working for Totally Vets (previously Manawatu Vet Services) since 2000. I am involved in all areas of production animal medicine but have a particular interest in BVD eradication programs, bull fertility and lameness prevention.

After stints in the UK and Wanganui, and a break with family, she returned to Totally Vets in 2017 as a Production Animal Vet. She loves the Manawatu and enjoys all production animal work especially getting to know and help our farming clients.

Production Animal Veterinarian

I began working for Manawatu Vet Service which has now become Totally Vets in 1996 after graduating from Massey. I decided to spread my wings in 1999 and head off on my O.E and I ended up working in Norfolk, England in a mixed animal vet practice. In 2001, I decided to return to the Manawatu and Totally Vets. My main interest is production work, dairy and beef cattle, sheep, deer and anything else that is presented to me on farm. My real passion is working with my clients helping them achieve their goals.

Juan KlueJuan Klue BVSc
Production Animal Veterinarian

I joined Totally vets in 2013 after graduating from Massey University. Having a farming background meant working within the production side of the business made common sense to me. My main interests lie in both dairy and beef cattle, sheep and deer. Left to my own devices being out on a farm is always my preference than back at the clinic behind a desk.

Laura BeasleyLaura Beasley BVetMed
Production Animal Veterinarian

Since graduating from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2008 I have worked as a farm animal vet in the UK, Ireland and New Zealand before joining the Totally Vets Feilding team in 2018. My primary interest is improving the health and performance of dairy herds by working closely with farmers. Outside of work I live on a Manawatu dairy farmer with my partner and keep busy studying for a Masters degree focussed on dairy cows.

I began working for Totally Vets in 2017 after graduating from Massey University. Growing up on a sheep and beef farm in the Bay of Plenty has given me a passion for working with production animals. I also enjoy working with cats and dogs in the clinic when I'm not out on farm and have a particular interest in working dogs.

Beck BroughanBeck Broughan BVSc (dist)
Production Animal Veterinarian

Having had a previous career in the metal casting industry, a stint working on a dairy goat farm in the Waikato led me to undertake veterinary studies at Massey. While I started out with a strong focus on becoming a large animal vet, over the course of the degree I found that I also get a lot of satisfaction from small animal medicine. My time at Massey introduced me to the joys of the Manawatu and I’m really happy to be staying on in the area and to be joining the Feilding production animal vet team.
