Christine MoloneyChristine Moloney BVSc
Companion Animal Veterinarian

I am currently the head of the Companion Animal Department, having spent the last 30 years guiding it to where it is today. I especially enjoy the relationships I have with my many clients and my interest in surgery. My spare time is spent with my partner on our sheep and beef farm, where we can be found mustering on horseback, or trekking through the bush when time allows.

I was raised on a sheep and beef farm in the Hawke's Bay.

I graduated from Massey in 1992 and after working in mixed practice in Taranaki came to the Manawatu. I began working for Manawatu Vet Services (now Totally Vets) in 1994. After a stint in travelling and then working in Somerset England, and a break with family, I returned to Totally Vets.

I love both cats and dogs and do have a soft spot for those working dogs.

I joined Totally Vets in 2008 after working in various practices in New Zealand and the UK over the past 20+ years. I love the variety of a small animal practice and enjoy the relationships that develop with my clients while looking after their furry friends. I particularly like cats and have a special interest in medicine and dentistry. My own cats Scotti & Paddy are best mates and provide me with a lot of enjoyment watching their antics together.
