Ultrasound
The clinic has invested in a high-quality Dopler ultrasound machine, dedicated to small animal use. Ultrasound is on the cutting edge of diagnostics and enables our vets to perform safe, non-invasive colour imaging of problem areas.
Ultrasound is used to check for pregnancy, suspected tumours and to help guide the vet when taking tissue biopsies. The colour feature of our ultrasound machine also allows us to identify colour changes in tissues. This can indicate the early onset of disease and is therefore a very useful diagnostic tool.
